Hello! Well where do I begin? I was 17 when I got the job at the theater. My cousin Chris got a job there two weeks before I did. He told me that it was haunted. At the time I really didn't believe in that type of thing. I did, but never paid no mind to it. I worked there for about a week before I finally saw something that I couldn't pass off as reflections on my glasses or something else. Chris and I were sitting down in the biggest and oldest part of the theater...#2. There are four theaters in there. Number 2 was built long before the other three. I looked up at the ceiling and saw what looked like smoke. The glowing smoke floated to about the center of the ceiling and disappeared. I looked over at Chris and he was looking up too. He looked at me and said, "Did you See that?". So I know that I was not the only one who saw that thing that night. Then what would become an every night occurrence would be what you now call "orbs". Well, I didn't hear that term until the late 90's. We called them comets, because that's what they looked like. We would see those all the time...balls of light. I never really felt threatened in there. The only time I was scared was one night when I was in one of the small theaters, number 4, and I was blowing it down. Let me explain what that means. We would use an electric leaf blower to blow all the trash and popcorn to the bottom and then clean it up. Sometimes during this process you would get the cord caught on a chair, but this night I felt something pull at my cord. I thought it was Chris, but I knew he was blowing down number 1. The cord was unplugged from the wall. I went up the aisle to plug it back in and I heard footsteps, like someone running. I looked and there was a black shadow like five feet from me. When it got to me I felt cold air, like walking into a restaurant freezer. I had long hair at the time and my hair actually flopped in the breeze. I am not joking, I actually peed my pants. That was the only time I was really scared. I have more tales, but these are some of the best. Robert Glenn |
